Father, Fitness, Food and Fun
I’m a meteorologist, a dad, a partner, a gardener, a cook, a fitness freak, and so much more. I am the first in line of 4 siblings. Coming from a divorced home at 8 years old, I had to grow up fast. At the age of 4, I knew being a meteorologist was going to happen. You see, I am one of those who fights till the end until I succeed with anything I try. Part of it is in my DNA and part of it was due to the fact I was the man of the house so early on.
Being the local meteorologist for a station in Philadelphia is a dream come true, but being a dad is a gift! My partner Karl and I had two beautiful kiddos. Jacob 5 and Hannah 3. They are my greatest accomplishment in life! Being a same sex family had many challenges down the road, but as I write this there in nothing I wouldn’t challenge all over again to have them in our lives. They bring so much joy, life, and compassion to our world. Because of my wonderful family and being openly gay to the public, I was honored to be a part of Out Magazines out 100 list.
I decided to start this website and youtube channel in honor of my viewers. You see, along with having a B.S. degree in meteorology, I have a love for the kitchen, the home, the garden. I am asked all the time to “share the recipe, what kind of tomatoes are you growing, what flowers do best in the full sun.” Aside from my daily job and my family, whipping up a dish, planting flowers, tending to the vegetable garden, decorating for the holidays, and hitting the gym is a stress relief. I find so much happiness making things pretty and making others feel loved.
I am not a professional when it comes to cooking, baking, gardening, landscaping, or decorating, but everyone that gets to see, taste, or experience what I dabble in seems to want more. So here I am!!! I look forward to showing you all I got and I look forward to hearing from you and expect you to challenge me with ideas both in the kitchen and in the garden.
Thank you for following along!
